The Animal Services Advisory Commission is a Mayor appointed commission.  The purpose of the Animal Services Advisory Commission shall be to advise the Mayor, City Council, Director of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs (PRCA) and Animal Welfare Director upon all phases of the operation and maintenance of City of Farmington Animal Services, including the Animal Shelter and Animal Control. The commission may also recommend to and advise PRCA Commission on animal matters and the budgeting and expenditure of operational and capital funds for the Animal Shelter and Animal Control Services.
