STREET RESTRICTION & CLOSURE NOTICES

Please be advised:

  • Apache Street between Airport Drive and Auburn Avenue will be RESTRICTED Friday, February 15, 2019. Work will begin at 9:00 am and end at 1:00 pm.


  • N. Orchard Street between E. Apache Street and E. La Plata Street will be RESTRICTED Friday, February 15, 2019. Work will begin at 1:00 pm and end at 6:00 pm.


  • N. Locke Avenue between Main Street and Arrington Street and the alleyways and sidewalks will be CLOSED on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, to allow for overhead electrical work and trenching. No power outages are anticipated. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm 


  • The westbound right turn lane on Southside River Road between Bloomfield Blvd. and Broadway Avenue will be CLOSED beginning Tuesday, February 12, 2019 through Thursday, February 28, 2019 to allow for sewer line installation. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday thru Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm  


  • La Puente Street from La Puente Place to La Salle Street will be RESTRICTED beginning Friday, January 25, 2019 through Friday, February 22, 2019 to allow for utility work. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm   


  • Water line installation continues on Murray Drive between Camina Entrada and Carlton Avenue. The street will continue to be RESTRICTED through Friday, March 15, 2019. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm  


  • Sidewalk construction continues on La Plata Street between Behrend Avenue and Wall Avenue. The street will continue to be RESTRICTED through Friday, February 22, 2019. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm  


  • Water line installation continues on S. Dustin Road from Hwy 64 to Southside River Road. The street will continue to be RESTRICTED through March 15, 2019. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm 


  • Utility work continues at the intersection at Pinon Hills Blvd. and E. Main St. The road will remain RESTRICTED through Friday, March 1, 2019. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm


  • Waterline installation continues on San Juan Blvd. between Scott Ave. and Butler Ave. The street will remain RESTRICTED through Friday, February 22, 2019. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

POTHOLE PATCHING & CRACK-SEALING PROJECT

The City of Farmington Streets Department will be potholing various locations throughout the City. Locations may be RESTRICTED for a short period of time during this process, detours and barricades will be in place.

Main Street Revitalization Project

Please be advised the Electrical Dept will be upgrading the Electrical System in the downtown alleyways, north and south of Main Street, between S. Miller Avenue and Auburn Avenue. VARIOUS CLOSURES AND RESTRICTIONS are expected in ALLEYS and SIDE STREETS beginning Thursday, January 24, 2019 through Monday, June 24, 2019.

       Construction Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm 
 
Detours and barricading will be in place. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.

FOOTHILLS DR. ENHANCEMENT - PHASE I

The project will involve reconstructing Foothills Dr. from Holmes Drive to Rinconada St. The reconstructed road will have two 11' wide travel lanes, two 5' wide bike lanes, one 10' wide detached multi-use path, drainage structures, medians and a roundabout.

2P, PHASE I WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

The 2P, Phase 1 Waterline Replacement Project is currently in progress.  This major project includes replacement waterlines on  Griffen, Graham, Plum, Bramble, Poplar, Sycamore and S. Dustin.

The 2P, Phase 2 Waterline Replacement Project is currently in progress.  This major project includes replacement waterlines on  Old McCormick School Rd. E. Murray Drive and Hydro Plant Rd.
